Note :

     

1) If the crossing is located on a metre guage or a Narrow guage likely to be converted to broad guage, clearances applicable to Broad guage shall be adopted 9Section 18-3).

2)  Station limits shall be taken to mean all tracks lying in the area between the outer most signals of a railway Section (Section 18-4).

3) U.G. cable pipe structure should be at 5 meters away from railway power support to be Located by Railway authority (Section 30-1).

4) The spun concrete pipe encasting cable under the tracks should be laid at not than 1 metre below the surface of formation level and upto a minimum distance of 3 meters from the nearest track either side (Section 33-1).
